“ Unassuming diner off 22nd street that's easy to miss; don't let that stop you from coming in. Warm, attentive staff serving delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Feels like a throwback to simpler times. Highly recommended. ”
“ The service as soon as we walked in was warm and welcoming. The coffee was fresh. The food, I could talk about the food just being good- no this food was fantastic, my husband got the French toast and eggs which he loved. I got the bacon cakes which was a game changer, if we lived closer I would absolutely be back. From someone just passing through this is a very good place ”
“ Cute restaurant with delicious food! The chicken fried steak is crispy and the staff was really polite. ”
“ Great friendly, community atmosphere! The service and food were excellent. This is one of those places that brings you back in time. We will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. ”
“ This is a great breakfast spot with a friendly neighborhood charm. My daughter couldn't wait to bring me here. The food is very good and the portions are generous. I had the chicken fried chicken with scrambled eggs and added a blueberry pancake. We also ordered bacon, cheesy eggs, and the biscuit and gravy. Everything was good and the service was great. They kept my cup filled with hot coffee literally from the moment we sat down. (I thought the coffee was free, for that reason, but it's actually 3 a cup.) I didn't sample any of the pies, but they boast that they have the world's best pies. ”
“ Love the food in the place! If you like old time diners and good service this place will do it for you! ”
“ I had pecan pancakes, scrambled eggs and home fries. They were perfectly cooked. No wait to be seated food was fast and the server was on top of everything. Whipped butter was the perfect temperature. We did not need to ask for anything. I did not think to take a picture until after I had started. No complaints at my table! ”
“ My meatloaf sandwich, on rye, was delicious! This is the only place in town, that I know of, which has homemade rhubarb pie. Not strawberry/rhubarb. It is to die for!!! They have several different homemade pies daily. This is a homey, old fashioned Cafe like you would've eaten at in the 50s and 60s. The wait staff are all friendly and attentive. You should give them a try! ”
